Alisa La is the Manager of Public Policy and Government Relations at the McDonald’s Corporation. She is a native of the DC area and graduate of George Washington University. She is an experienced Government Relations leader with a proven track record of engagement and outreach across the highest levels of government including the White House, U.S. Congress, Federal Agencies, Foreign Embassies and Political Committees.  She most recently served as the Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Prior to Alisa’s time on Capitol Hill, she was a political appointee under the Obama Administration at the U.S. Department of State’s Protocol Office. She was also the Deputy Director of National Finance Events on the 2016 Hillary for America Presidential Campaign.

Being the daughter of Vietnamese refugees built a passion for making a difference – which has always been at the forefront of her career.  She is proud to have grown up in the restaurant business as her father owns a successful restaurant, Meiwah, in the Washington, DC area. She and her husband, Ryan, enjoy travelling, watching movies, and proud parents of Jones and Lyla.
