Springdale, Ark. – April 18, 2022 –I am pleased to share that Tyson Foods has committed more than $1 million to support our many team members who are immigrants to the United States through the Tyson Immigration Partnership (TIP.) Through the TIP program, Tyson Foods will help provide team members with legal services and acquire U.S. citizenship. The program, which has been supporting seven Tyson Foods facilities over the past year, will now expand significantly to serve 40 company locations in 14 states.

In collaboration with non-profits Immigrant Connection and Arkansas Immigrant Defense, the TIP program has provided aid to more than 500 Tyson Foods team members, including employment authorization renewals, citizenship petitions, and financial support for citizenship application fees.

Tyson Foods’ U.S.-based workforce is made up of team members from more than 160 countries who collectively speak more than 50 languages. Our goal is to see our team members and communities thrive, and we are proud to support our many team members looking to acquire U.S. citizenship.

At Tyson Foods, we remain deeply committed to supporting the professional and personal growth of all our team members. This includes investing more than $500 million in wage increases and bonuses for frontline workers over the past year, as well as providing good-paying entry-level jobs with robust benefits. We are also piloting subsidized and onsite childcare and have opened seven near-site health centers. An increasing number of Tyson Foods production facilities are also offering more flexible work schedules for frontline workers.
