Sierra Rodriguez is an accomplished college student, deeply committed to political engagement and empowering youth. Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at American University, she anticipates graduation in May 2024. Sierra, a former Division I Diver on American University’s Women’s Diving team, helped the team proudly earn the prestigious All American Scholar award. As the Chief Executive Officer of Youth 4 Beto, Texas, from December 2021 to November 2022, Sierra orchestrated a triumphant youth town hall in Hidalgo County, skillfully expanding both the executive team and volunteer base. Her leadership was further exemplified in roles such as Head Teaching Assistant at the National Student Leadership Conference and Intern and Executive Director of Outreach at Powered by Youth. In this capacity, Sierra significantly contributed to promoting liberal-leaning clubs and executing comprehensive college outreach plans. Dedicated to fostering leadership skills in the younger generation, Sierra is poised to continue making a positive impact on the political landscape.
