From January 24-27 CHLI welcomed its Spring 2023 cohorts of Global Leader interns, Communications Fellows, Programs Fellow, and Administrative Interns from The Washington Center (TWC) and The Fund for American Studies (TFAS).
During this orientation, the group participated of workshops for professional development, meet & greets, lunch & learns, and a dinner with CHLI’s Board and Advisory Council Members. Special thanks to CHLI Board & Advisory Council Members, The Honorable Lincoln Diaz-Balart, The Honorable Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Ilia Rodriguez of Accenture, Sara Decker of Walmart, Jon Martinez of Haleon, and Hernan Albamonte of PMI for meeting with the interns and fellows. Additional thanks to CHLI Alumni Association members, Elizabeth DosSantos, Paola Arellano, Angel Soto Ortiz, Daribel Román, and Aaron Arriaga and to Frank Gomez of Educational Testing Service and Dee Bullock of Paychex for providing workshops and participating of different conversations with the students.
To close off a full week of activities, the interns participated of a Hop-on, Hop-off Bus Tour of Washington, D.C.’s monuments and memorials.
