The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) congratulates Jovita Carranza on her appointment as Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA).
During her tenure as Treasurer of the United States, Ms. Carranza demonstrated extraordinary commitment to doing everything possible to foster economic growth and development. To a remarkable extent because of her guidance, the Hispanic community has formed small businesses at over twice the national average, with Hispanic women-owned businesses driving a large percentage of that growth.
