Molly Hill, Isabella Stunkard, Alex Tufino, and Sofia Reyes.

Washington, D.C.— The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) has proudly welcomed, in partnership with The Washington Center (TWC) and The Fund for American Studies (TFAS), four administrative interns for its Summer 2026 Class.

Through their internships, the administrative interns will gain direct experience working in a nonprofit environment while supporting internal operations at the CHLI office. The administrative internship program is designed for current college students to gain hands-on experience and learn how to excel in a fast-paced, communication-heavy environment. During their time at the CHLI office, interns will have the opportunity to assist with event programming, organizational responsibilities, and strategic communications.

“Our administrative interns are the backbone of CHLI’s events and operations, ensuring every detail comes together seamlessly. Without their commitment and hard work, we would not be able to host events at the scale we do. Through this internship, they gain the leadership, initiative, and professionalism needed to excel in their future careers,” said CHLI President & CEO Mary Ann Gomez Orta.

The 2026 administrative interns are:

Alex Tufino, University of South Carolina-Columbia, Class of 2027, via TFAS.
Isabella Stunkard, University of Arizona, Class of 2027, via TWC.
Molly Hill, University of Virginia, Class of 2027.
Sofia Reyes, California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Class of 2028.
