Nicole Marín serves as the Director of Programs and Internships at the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI). She began her journey with CHLI in 2020 as a Programs & Communications Intern and has since then been a member of the team, having the opportunity to learn about different aspects of the organization ranging from administrative & operations from her time as assistant to CHLI’s President & CEO, to managing the organization’s internships, and most recently throughout her role within the organization’s Programs Team.
A proud Puerto Rican, Nicole was born in the island and grew up in the small town of Naguabo. Her deep appreciation for Puerto Rican history evolved into a passion for politics, and sustainable policy. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in Government, Law, and Public Policy at the University of Puerto Rico–Río Piedras.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and maintains a longstanding interest in the arts, having received training in visual arts throughout most of her formative years.
