Maya Mitchell is a Public Relations Intern at the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI), having joined in April 2024. She’s driven by her Brazilian heritage, advocating for her community and focusing on educational inequality in Brazil. Studying government and biology at the College of William & Mary, she’s on a pre-law track, aiming to broaden opportunities for future graduates across various sectors.
