Leila Subirats is a Social Media and Communications Intern at the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI). She attends Florida International University and is pursuing a degree in Public Relations and Advertising. Her interests include strategic communications, public affairs, community engagement, and the intersection of media and public service. Prior to attending FIU, Leila studied Cyber Operations as a midshipman at the United States Naval Academy. She has since applied leadership and situational skills learned at USNA across nonprofit and higher education communications, including her work with Girls on the Run Miami and Florida International University.
