Ziyan Sears currently works as a government relations analyst at Berkshire Hathaway Energy, an energy holding company with over $100b in assets serving over 4.9 million retail customers. At BHE, Ziyan is responsible for managing and coordinating across several company PACs, tracking federal funding for coordination and distribution across several operating companies spanning over two dozen states, and generally working to tackle the pressing issues of the day. Prior to joining BHE, Ziyan worked at Dominion Energy, the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) and the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis. Ziyan is also a proud Howard University graduate, holding a B.A. in environmental studies.
