Miguel is a Senior Manager in Amazon’s Public Policy team where he supports the company’s transportations and logistics operations, including the air cargo, multimodal, and global logistics business teams He leads and executes policy and advocacy objectives before Congress, the Administration, trade associations, and relevant stakeholders. Prior to Amazon, Miguel worked for Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart for over thirteen years and served as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director. He was the principal advisor for issues related to the Committee on Appropriations, including transportation, foreign affairs, and national security.
Miguel, a native of Miami, Florida, graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration and Latin American studies.
