Kylie Patterson is Senior Vice President for 3rd Party Policy Engagement at Citi, where she leads relationship management and strategy with center-left policy, civil rights, and consumer organizations to advance Citi’s public policy goals. Prior to Citi, Kylie served as a Deputy Assistant to the President on the White House Domestic Policy Council. A Capitol Hill veteran, Presidential appointee, and White House senior official, she advised the President on key policy initiatives, strategized to pass multi-billion-dollar legislation supporting small and minority-owned businesses, and implemented semiconductor industrial policy. Her career has focused on driving positive economic outcomes, notably codifying the Minority Business Development Agency, working on the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), and facilitating over $50 billion in investments in critical technologies across the U.S. A frequent speaker on policy, politics, and economics, Kylie has addressed audiences at Harvard University, SXSW, The Aspen Institute, and Brookings, among others. Her writing has been published in CNN, The Baltimore Sun, and HuffPost. Kylie holds a bachelor’s degree from Temple University and a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Minnesota.
