Therefore, as a leader, he strives to create an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels acknowledged and is also particularly enthusiastic about supporting migrant students as they navigate new environments. He successfully implemented a means for students to find spiritual purpose through community service. By connecting students with community organizations and guiding them through acts of service, Eduardo looks to educate others on the value of helping others and instill the importance of being an active community member. These experiences have strengthened his commitment to civic engagement and have promoted his pursuit of justice. Eduardo wishes to eventually become a lawyer who can help immigrants and join the United States Foreign Service. He believes diplomacy, at home and abroad, can help strengthen our community. Therefore, Eduardo strives to become a beacon that aids in creating stronger community bonds and continues strengthening his community by actively engaging in civic participation, advocating for social justice, supporting migrant students, and promoting educational opportunities. By aiming to supplement his professional pursuits while honoring his Latino roots, Eduardo is eager to continue learning the tools and knowledge necessary to become a role model and a Global Leader.
As a CHLI Global Leader, Eduardo hopes to expand his legislative understanding by focusing on immigration, international relations, education, and the environment.
