CHLI partner DoorDash has launched an Emergency Food Response to support SNAP recipients in preparation for potential disruptions to SNAP funding during the government shutdown.
The initiative includes free delivery for Project Dash food bank and food pantry partners nationwide and partnerships with leading grocers to waive delivery and service fees for approximately 300,000 orders for SNAP recipients throughout the month of November. DoorDash is also donating food and essential household items from Dash Mart locations to local food banks serving communities in need.
This effort reflects DoorDash’s ongoing commitment to collaboration and ensuring families nationwide have access to essential food support.
