Ángel Soto is the Staff Assistant in Congresswoman González-Colón’s (R-PR) office, a position he started right after completing the CHLI Global Leaders Program in the Fall of 2022. He has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Microbiology and a minor in International Relations from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, where he was also actively involved in non-profit student organizations that provided professional, academic, and extra-curricular resources for students interested in pursuing health-related careers. Ángel looks forward to advancing CHLI’s mission by promoting its impactful initiatives and development opportunities across the alumni network.
