Noel Perez serves as the Director of Federal Affairs at General Motors (GM), where he leads policy development and advocacy efforts before the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. In this role, he works to advance GM’s vision of an all-electric future with zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion.

Prior to joining GM, Noel spent over a decade on Capitol Hill, most recently serving as Director of Outreach at the Senate Democratic Steering and Outreach Committee. There, he worked alongside Democratic Senators to build internal and external coalitions in support of key legislative priorities. In the House, he served as a Legislative Staffer for then-Congressman Xavier Becerra (D-CA) and later as an Advisor for Member Services and Outreach for the House Democratic Caucus.

A proud son of working-class Mexican immigrants, Noel is originally from Northern California and holds a B.A. in Political Science from California State University, East Bay.
