Honored by her hometown of Stockton, California, this well-deserved recognition highlights Mary Ann’s unwavering commitment to broadening the diversity of thought within the Hispanic community and shaping a brighter future for the next generation of leaders.

“I am honored to receive the Unsung Hero Award for the work I do at CHLI in supporting Hispanic students from across the country. It was extra special to be recognized by the Latino community organization and local elected leaders of my hometown” said Mary Ann Gomez Orta.
