Ryan joined Capital One in 2023 and represents Capital One before the US Congress, with a particular focus on financial access and education, employment, and diversity, inclusion and belonging. He is also responsible for the operations of Capital One’s political action committee as well as political engagement, providing associates with the opportunity to be involved with the political process through Get Out The Vote campaigns, site visits from elected officials and grassroots communications.

Prior to Capital One, Ryan worked for Smiths Group where he managed their political programs and engaged elected officials on manufacturing issues. He also served as a financial consultant for numerous congressional and presidential campaigns. He received a master’s degree in Business Analysis  from Catholic University where he also received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
