The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) recently celebrated the graduation of our Summer 2024 Law Fellows with a reception in Washington, D.C. to commemorate the successful completion of their program.
The event began with inspiring remarks by CHLI Chairwoman, The Honorable Ileana Ros-Lehtinen offering our graduates words of encouragement for their future pursuits. During the graduation reception, CHLI President and CEO, Mary Ann Gomez Orta talked about the significance of the program and thanked the sponsors, including Capital One, whose Principal Government Affairs Associate, Ryan O’Connor, spoke about how proud Capital One is to support the law fellowship program.
The ceremony then continued with CHLI Senior Internship Manager, Nicole Marin presenting the certificates of completion to the law fellows.
Each law fellow expressed gratitude to their mentors, supervisors, colleagues, and other supporters. CHLI’s Law Fellows shared the significance of this opportunity and discussed their plans to apply the lessons learned to advance their academic and professional endeavors. The program concluded with Keith Fernandez, President of the CHLI Alumni Association inviting all graduates to the CHLI Alumni Association.
